What happens to the names, words and photos you put on a card.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
- Your card is made inside your own browser. Names, wishes and photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- No account, no cookies, no local storage and no advertising. Visits, and how many cards get made, are counted anonymously (see “Anonymous counts”).
- An e-card link carries the names and words you typed inside the link itself. Whoever has the link can read them, so share it only with the people you mean it for. Photos are never put in a link.
Who is responsible
MSRX Birthday Card Studio is run by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual, publishing under the name “MSRX”. MSRX is a brand name, not a registered company. Questions and requests reach us at mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com.
What you type and add
| What | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Names, age, headline, wish, fonts and colours | Held in your browser’s memory while the page is open and drawn onto the card there. Gone when you close or reload the tab. Never sent to a server. |
| Your photos | Read from your device by your browser, resized there and drawn onto the card. Not uploaded, not stored and not seen by us. They are never part of an e-card link. |
| The design you opened | Written into the page address after the # (for example #/design/sakura-dusk) so the back button and links work. Browsers do not send this part of the address to the server. |
E-card links
When you copy an e-card link or send one with WhatsApp, the studio packs the design, the names, the headline, the age, the wish and your font and colour choices into the part of the link after the #. It is encoded, not encrypted: anyone who has the link can read what it says. The link is not stored by us anywhere. When the person opens it, their browser reads the card from the link and draws it on their own device; that part of the address is not sent to our server either.
The app you paste the link into (WhatsApp, email, a chat app) receives the whole link, including the words in it, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
When you download or share
- Download (PNG, JPG or PDF) saves the finished card, with your photos, to your device. What happens to it after that is up to you.
- Share opens your device’s own share menu with the card image. The app you pick there receives the image.
- WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with a short message and the e-card link ready to send. WhatsApp receives that text when you open it.
What the website itself receives
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel receives your IP address and basic browser details when your device asks for the page, the scripts and the fonts, because it needs them to deliver those files. Vercel may keep these in short-lived server logs for running and securing the service. We do not use them to identify you.
Every file the studio needs, including all 29 fonts and the PDF library, is served from birthday.msrx.co.in itself. The page contacts no ad network, no font service and no other third party, apart from Vercel’s anonymous counting, described next, and WhatsApp when you press its button.
Anonymous counts
We count two things, so we know whether the studio is used: how many people open it, and how many cards get made.
Visits. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is part of the service that hosts this site. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page view it records the page address, the site that linked you here, an approximate location (country, region and city) worked out from the request, and your browser, operating system and type of device. Anything after a ? or # in the address is removed before the count is sent, so the design you opened and anything in an e-card link are never part of it.
It does not store your IP address. Visitors are told apart only by a hash of the request that Vercel discards after 24 hours, so a page view cannot be tied to you or to your other visits.
Cards made. When you download a card, share it, send it with WhatsApp or copy an e-card link, the page records one more anonymous count under a made-up address such as /created/png, which says only how the card left the page (PNG, JPG, PDF, share, WhatsApp or e-card), and one under the name of the built-in design, such as /card/sakura-dusk, so we can see which designs people like. It never sends the card, the names, the wish or your photos. It is a total, not a list of people.
We count because knowing whether the studio is used is in our legitimate interest, and the count is built so that it cannot identify you. A content blocker, or turning JavaScript off for analytics, stops the count and changes nothing else about the studio.
Photos of other people, and of children
If you add a photo of someone else, make sure they, or a parent for a child, are happy for it to be on a card you send. We never receive the photo, so this choice is entirely yours.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, and have it corrected or erased. Because the studio never sends your names, wishes or photos to us, we hold none of them. If you think otherwise, or have any privacy concern, write to our grievance contact below and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes
If the studio ever starts sending anything off your device, this page will say so before it happens and the date above will change.
